5 minutes to prepare. 10 minutes to cook. Roast asparagus is a great choice if you're cooking a chicken dish.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp freshly ground pepper
sea salt to taste
Clean the asparagus and break off the ends (usually about a third of the way down the stalk). Lay them out on a baking tray.
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Drizzle some olive oil all over the asparagus and add some fresh ground pepper and sea salt. Pop it in the oven on an upper rack and cook for 10 minutes and you're done!
I find that the asparagus tends to get cold quite quickly so time it well with the other food you're cooking and make sure you serve in in a warm dish or pre-heated plate.
