Beef Gravy Recipe for Roast Beef
This beef gravy recipe is easy to make and a perfect with a Sunday roast. I’ve had great results and plenty of compliments about this recipe from people that have tried it.
Ingredients
1/2 cup coarsely chopped shallots
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup red wine
1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
3 cups of beef or chicken stock
1 tsp of tomato paste

Directions
After you've cooked your roast beef, pour the fat from your roasting pan, leaving about 2 tablespoons. Add the shallots and cook until they are brown on the edges.
Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes or until brown.
Add the wine, vinegar, stock and tomato paste. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce is thick and glossy
